About Kathy Benuck

Kathy developed her legendary organizational skills out of total necessity when juggling the responsibilities of a busy household and toddler children while simultaneously pursuing a nursing career, being a fulltime college student, and being politically active in her community.

Her passion for coordinating major political grassroots efforts led to a fulltime political involvement in Massachusetts. Her political activities received national media attention, and led to frequent television and radio guest appearances where she discussed hot political issues, debated well-known area political personalities, and answered live calls from
viewers and listeners.

Not wanting to raise her children in the political arena, she left politics before her children reached middle school, and then began a career in association management that spanned several years. Her nonprofit organizational experience involved work for national, regional, and state associations that represented business and industry, and included serving as lobbyist for a wide variety of industries. She performed lobbying duties in as many as six states at the same time while also totally managing the operations of a multi-state professional association

Throughout her nonprofit management career, she developed and taught numerous business seminars and workshops, and also developed and taught grassroots advocacy courses both for business groups and for volunteer-based organizations. She was also a guest lecturer on grassroots advocacy at three New England colleges. In addition to her work for business and industry, she also worked for two national nonprofit health organizations to lead state advocacy campaigns, and directed marketing activities for one of the oldest senior residential healthcare facilities in the nation.

Throughout her career, Kathy was a freelance writer, and also served as Vice President of a commercial printing company where she was responsible for publication copywriting for corporate clients. Her freelance work has included writing a weekly newspaper column on controversial issues getting public notice. More recently, she has been a copywriter for business websites.

Kathy started her company All About Being Organized in 2007 in order to totally utilize her management skills, organizational abilities, and writing talent without the constraints of having responsibilities to other organizations. In addition to “Best-Ever Christmas Planner”, several other “how-to” manuals are in production, and a series of cookbooks are also forthcoming.

Kathy and her husband are involved in numerous civic, cultural, and charitable activities, and especially enjoy family events that now also include some new “little people” to get organized!
